It’s no secret that I’m a big fan of low-maintenance, high-yield beauty products. I don’t want to nor do I have time to fuss, but I still want to look good. I think most folks would be of like mind to some extent. Here’s the tricky bit, though. When it comes to marketing pitches, I am a little guarded. I WANT to try all the pretty, girly things, but at the same time, I know that my pocketbook won’t allow it, so I steel myself with cynicism. When Hairfinity asked me to talk about their hair vitamins, trying them was non-negotiable. I can’t tell you guys you should try something unless I’ve tried it myself! They sent me three bottles, and I’ve been taking them for a little over two months.
I had an idea of what Hairfinity Hair Vitamins promised with regular use of their vitamins -shinier hair, faster hair growth, stronger hair, and thicker hair- but I wasn’t sure of how it would work in practice. Having already had some success in using supplements to deal with some persistent problems (getting rid of my rosacea, for example) I was open to the idea that vitamins could improve my hair, though. So can I recommend them after taking them consistently for two plus months? Oh boy, yes!
This photo was taken of me this summer before I started taking Hairfinity Hair Vitamins.
I kind of made measuring my hair growth difficult of myself by having a haircut a couple of weeks into the experiment, so it’s hard for me to quantify the hair growth, but I can tell you this; my hair is growing faster than it ever has before. I had a little over two and a half inches taken off with the haircut, and a good third of that length has already grown back. That’s crazy fast.
It’s hard to tell from this photo, but I assure you my hair is growing fast, and you can tell how thick it looks! Is it thicker and stronger? Oh gosh. I’ve always had a lot of hair. Even when my hair was cut short, it was dense on my scalp. I can say, though, that I find less hair loss and breakage when I shower or brush my hair since I started taking Hairfinity Hair Vitamins.
Is my hair shinier? I think it is! In fact, at a media event I went to a couple of weeks ago, some ladies were exclaiming about how shiny my hair was and then touching it. At 40 years old, I’ll take that.
Tips for Improving How Well Vitamins Work for You
- As silly as this sounds, take them as directed at the same time every day. Hairfinity Hair Vitamins recommend taking one tablet twice daily. I take mine with a small glass of water before my morning tea and about an hour before bedtime. Making it part of the routine makes it easier to remember and remembering to take it is crucial to giving it a chance to work.
- I mentioned taking it with a glass of water. It’s pretty important to do that. Why? Water keeps you hydrated (duh, right?) which helps all of the body systems (digestive, circulatory, respiratory, etc…) work better. If they work better, the vitamins can be absorbed better. You’ll improve the effectiveness of your vitamins, your overall health, and probably improve your skin, to boot! Hydration is key!
- I’m a big fan of trying out a vitamin for a good month before deciding if it’s right for me. If I like the effects I’m getting, I try to always have one month’s reserve supply in the linen closet. In other words, once I commit to regularly using a vitamin or supplement, I order two extra bottles or it. Each time I open a bottle, I place my next order. This ensures that I can continue using it without interruption. Obsessive? Perhaps, but I’m a happy creature of habit.
