Harry & David sent me a Mother’s Day Tower of Treats Gift Deluxe (ARV $59) to review and has offered to give an identical gift tower to one lucky Foodie with Family reader in celebration of Mother’s Day. I do so love Harry & David.
You know ‘Mom’ is ‘Wow’ upside down, right?
How perfect is that? Every mother is aware how very upside down and wowed you spend most of your days. We think we’ve gone down the rabbit hole with diapers and spit-up, but every single day proves that you ain’t seen nothing yet. It’s the beginning of a lifetime of your heart being a dishrag that just keeps sopping up love and being wrung out just in time to soak up more love that you didn’t see coming.
…Just in time for Mother’s Day, my good friends at Harry & David ride to the rescue once again with a perfect gift to give to a deserving mother in your life, whether it’s yours, your spouse’s, your own, or a really nice lady down the street who mothers all the lonely kids. THIS mom is telling you that a stack of pretty boxes filled with treats of all kinds and tied together with a beautiful satin ribbon is a splendiferous way to show your appreciation. Have you TRIED their Royal Riviera pears yet? Let me explain how good the pears are… Each opportunity I’ve had to review and give away one of Harry & David’s gifts, I’ve deliberately chosen one with the pears because they rock my world. There is no other pear that is so tender and juicy that it’s easiest to eat if you cut it in half and scoop the flesh with a spoon. Seriously. What mom wouldn’t love that?
It’s not just full of pears, though; look at all the goodies in there…
Most of us have more than one mama for whom to buy or make a gift. If you’re stuck for ideas, you must hop over to Harry&David and look at their selection of Mother’s Day gifts. If your mom loves gardening, cheesecake, fruit, wine, cheese, flowers, tea, candy, chocolates, cake, cookies, wreaths, and birdhouses, they have you covered and there’s still seven days to order and have your gift arrive on time!
The giveaway is now closed. Congratulations to Terah, the college student! Please check your email and get back to me quickly. Your mama is going to be thrilled!

I would give this to my sweet mother-in-law. She has been so good. I’ve never felt like an “inlaw”. She’s had a tough time in her life. She lost 2 babies years ago and she lost her sweetheart (my father-in-law) to cancer nearly 14 years ago. Through it all she has shown love, compassion, and service to those around her. She’s the best!

It would be me…my mom is in India!!

I would totally give this to my mom, but she won’t eat any of it and that would just be a waste. I’m going to nominate myself for this treat. I’m a mom of one and a wife to a husband that’s been unemployed for 2.5 years now, battling his disability, and most of the juggling of our family and life falls to me. I could use some chocolate!

I’m the Mom now that mine is gone… so thanks in advance. Happy Day to all.
This would be a nice treat for myself…..I used to wish my mom would do more treat kind of things for herself instead of her family… so I’ve always tried to do that myself once in a while… this would be a dandy!

Selfishly, I may keep this for myself. I became a mama, for the first time, two weeks ago. The experience has been overwhelming and amazing. I’ve never felt such strong emotions before. And, let’s face it, snacks are appreciated when a newborn reigns!

No kids of my own, but I serve as the bad example/cautionary tale for many excellent mothers (“You better straighten up or you’ll turn out like your crazy Aunt Jamie”). One of them surely deserves this beautiful tower.

Oh my gosh my Mama is crazy about Harry & David treats! I would so give them to her. She is the most caring and thoughtful woman I know. She raised me to be strong and sensitive. As a single Mom she worked hard for everything we had. I would love to surprise her with this gorgeous gift.
Darla says
I would send it to my mother, but she is in Heaven. Sooo, maybe I would take it and invite some of my girlfriends over who are awesome moms and we could have a party!

I’d totally send this to my grandma in Miami! She is SUCH a closet sweet-tooth, meaning she won’t MAKE any sweets (she actually doesn’t love to cook) but she’ll buy chocolate and stash it, hiding it from my grandpa. Poor grandpa, I know. So if she gets this tower, it’d be hard to sneak it and she’d share it with everyone! Plus, she’s pretty cool and I need to call her TODAY.

My Mom is pretty amazing, so I’d give it to her! Thanks Bec!

My Momma SO deserves this! She’s such a hard working lady and she’s always doing things for me, my Dad and my siblings, even though we’re all grown. If I could give her anything and everything she ever wanted, I would.
