Harry & David sent me a Mother’s Day Tower of Treats Gift Deluxe (ARV $59) to review and has offered to give an identical gift tower to one lucky Foodie with Family reader in celebration of Mother’s Day. I do so love Harry & David.
You know ‘Mom’ is ‘Wow’ upside down, right?
How perfect is that? Every mother is aware how very upside down and wowed you spend most of your days. We think we’ve gone down the rabbit hole with diapers and spit-up, but every single day proves that you ain’t seen nothing yet. It’s the beginning of a lifetime of your heart being a dishrag that just keeps sopping up love and being wrung out just in time to soak up more love that you didn’t see coming.
…Just in time for Mother’s Day, my good friends at Harry & David ride to the rescue once again with a perfect gift to give to a deserving mother in your life, whether it’s yours, your spouse’s, your own, or a really nice lady down the street who mothers all the lonely kids. THIS mom is telling you that a stack of pretty boxes filled with treats of all kinds and tied together with a beautiful satin ribbon is a splendiferous way to show your appreciation. Have you TRIED their Royal Riviera pears yet? Let me explain how good the pears are… Each opportunity I’ve had to review and give away one of Harry & David’s gifts, I’ve deliberately chosen one with the pears because they rock my world. There is no other pear that is so tender and juicy that it’s easiest to eat if you cut it in half and scoop the flesh with a spoon. Seriously. What mom wouldn’t love that?
It’s not just full of pears, though; look at all the goodies in there…
Most of us have more than one mama for whom to buy or make a gift. If you’re stuck for ideas, you must hop over to Harry&David and look at their selection of Mother’s Day gifts. If your mom loves gardening, cheesecake, fruit, wine, cheese, flowers, tea, candy, chocolates, cake, cookies, wreaths, and birdhouses, they have you covered and there’s still seven days to order and have your gift arrive on time!
The giveaway is now closed. Congratulations to Terah, the college student! Please check your email and get back to me quickly. Your mama is going to be thrilled!

My daughter needs Mom’s Day treats. She has 2 beautiful stepsons that are like her own and is hoping to be expecting again after a tragic loss! She deserves every treat I can send her way!
Ronnie Condron says
My beautiful daughter Shannah would receive this. She has given me two adorable granddaughters and has just informed me that she and her husband are expecting another one in December!
Peggy Nagy says
Ummm.. I was totally thinking of myself as I clicked through and then you suggested giving it away… now guilt and indecision have kicked in…
Beth R says
I would like to be selfish and keep this for myself, but I won’t. I would give it to my daughter who is a mom to two beautiful daughters. She is by far a better mom than I was, really. I don’t know how she does it, but maybe she learned from my mistakes.

My mom! I’ve been a pretty hard-to-handle kid – not just because of, well, being a kid – and she’s carried me through every struggle I’ve had without once wincing at one of the many medical bills or doctor visits she’s had to put up with or fights she’s had to break up for my sake. She’s gotten through divorce and come out fighting. She’s a cancer survivor. She takes care of her own parents. She’s going for her Ph.D. even with everything else on her shoulders. She’s a superhero, she’s a miracle-worker, she’s a master cook, she’s an inspiration, and she’s beautiful, loving, and stronger than anyone else I’ve ever known.
And best of all? She loves me more than she loves chocolate. For someone with a chocolate sweet tooth like hers, that takes some commitment, let me tell you.

I would really like to get this! I would share, though.
Allison Wible says
I would send it to my mom.
Terri says
I would give it to my sister!
Ellen Renee says
I would split it between all the moms in my life (mom, step-mom, and mother-in-law) who have all fallen/or been in a car wreck and broke their hips this past winter. It has been a trial to say the least.
Karen Adams says
My daughter – in -law deserves this treat because she works so hard and gives of herself but rarely gets the praise she deserves.

It’s for me! I’m a mamma for my whole clan!

I think my mom should get this not me as she is a very giving lady. She takes care of her friend and neighbor 24/7, she is always giving money to help my brother and his family, she is always buying things for me at yard sale that I need for my canning addiction and cooking addiction and spends very little on herself even though she is on a limit income.

I’ve had a tough year and my mom has been so very supportive – loving, listening, praying, caring, giving, hugging, taking me out to lunch & shopping… I would love to be able to give her a special treat this Mother’s Day.
Susan Jalosky says
My sister, Lynette, is truly deserving of this treat! She was the main caregiver to our wonderful mom, along with my dad, that we lost on December 1st 2011. She worked at her job to support herself and then went to care for our mom each evening after work. The things she gave up in those 6 years can never be replaced but the time she spent with mom will also give her the greatest joy.
AlysonRR says
My mom and I would share it – she’s spending her first Mother’s Day as a widow, and my husband is going to be away (kids too small to pick anything for me)…
Lori Stilger says
Oh, BOY, would I love to win this for my mom! She is the most encouraging person in my life; things have been rough for me and my husband, and she’s ALWAYS doing something to benefit us. I don’t have any money this year to get her something; winning this would be SUCH a blessing. Thanks for such a generous giveaway! Be BLESSED!
Lisette says
Well, I would probably in the end send it to my ever helpful, lovin mama, but I would seriously consider keeping it, since my birthday is the week after Mother’s Day and I am a Mama too…but if she is here I could just SHARE it, and then everyone would be happy!
Sue Grone says
As much as I would like to say I would send this to my mom, I love Harry & David so much I would more than likely keep it for myself. Terrible, I know. But I think I’m a pretty good Mom. So I deserve it, right? Plus,I love pears too and my mom doesn’t.

I would like it delivered to a very sweet and loving lady, no she’s not my mom, mother -in-law, or any relation. This lady has done lots for many people and she is just great. The lady I choose is Laurie Senn Sagerman. She deserves this gift.
