Harry & David sent me a Mother’s Day Tower of Treats Gift Deluxe (ARV $59) to review and has offered to give an identical gift tower to one lucky Foodie with Family reader in celebration of Mother’s Day. I do so love Harry & David.
You know ‘Mom’ is ‘Wow’ upside down, right?
How perfect is that? Every mother is aware how very upside down and wowed you spend most of your days. We think we’ve gone down the rabbit hole with diapers and spit-up, but every single day proves that you ain’t seen nothing yet. It’s the beginning of a lifetime of your heart being a dishrag that just keeps sopping up love and being wrung out just in time to soak up more love that you didn’t see coming.
…Just in time for Mother’s Day, my good friends at Harry & David ride to the rescue once again with a perfect gift to give to a deserving mother in your life, whether it’s yours, your spouse’s, your own, or a really nice lady down the street who mothers all the lonely kids. THIS mom is telling you that a stack of pretty boxes filled with treats of all kinds and tied together with a beautiful satin ribbon is a splendiferous way to show your appreciation. Have you TRIED their Royal Riviera pears yet? Let me explain how good the pears are… Each opportunity I’ve had to review and give away one of Harry & David’s gifts, I’ve deliberately chosen one with the pears because they rock my world. There is no other pear that is so tender and juicy that it’s easiest to eat if you cut it in half and scoop the flesh with a spoon. Seriously. What mom wouldn’t love that?
It’s not just full of pears, though; look at all the goodies in there…
Most of us have more than one mama for whom to buy or make a gift. If you’re stuck for ideas, you must hop over to Harry&David and look at their selection of Mother’s Day gifts. If your mom loves gardening, cheesecake, fruit, wine, cheese, flowers, tea, candy, chocolates, cake, cookies, wreaths, and birdhouses, they have you covered and there’s still seven days to order and have your gift arrive on time!
The giveaway is now closed. Congratulations to Terah, the college student! Please check your email and get back to me quickly. Your mama is going to be thrilled!

So selfish, but it’s too good not to keep! Me!

I would give to my daughter, a college Sophomore, who will be starting finals week.

My mom, sisters, sisters-in-law and I all get together on Thursday evenings so I can see sharing this with them all for a special treat!

For my mom! Of course…she is the most beautiful person I know. I only hope I can be as good of a mother as she was (is!) She deserves much more than pears. Even if they are the world’s best from Harry and David. 🙂

I have uncles, Henry & David, which is how we refer, to what should be, Harry & David.

I would love to win! My girl was born last October so this is my first Mother’s Day as a mom.

My wonderful mother who has supported me so much over the past 27 years! We get together for breakfast once a week and we talk over how our lives are going. I love her and her advice!

So, I know I’m supposed to say something wonderful and dreamy like “I’d give this to my mom who’s my best friend, etc., etc.” but the truth is I just want all those darn goodies myself, and I’m getting to the point in my mothering experience where I’m just gonna come right on out and say that! And I’m almost feeling okay about. But I would totally share with others… 🙂

Both my Mom and mom-in-law have passed away, but I have a friend we
have always considered our aunt. She has been in an out of the nursing home recuperating from falls, and is a feisty little Greek gal, that we love to pieces!
Her children are never around, and her grandson used her bank card to charge
thousands of dollars, while she was in the nursing home.(She said she would have given him the money, if he’d only asked…that’s how big her heart is).
People that are lucky enough to still have their parents, should absolutely treasure each day they have with them!

My Mother-in-law! She is wonderful! I lost my mother to cancer when I was 26, after having been married to my husband for three years. I knew that God gave me a wonderful mother in law because I was going to lose my own mom. She is the best mother in law in the world!
Rasa says
My sister-in-law, Renata certainly deserves this foodie gift. She ALWAYS has some yummy snacks at her house and she is ALWAYS very generous. She certainly would appreciate this lovely gift and would share it with her very handsome and witty husband, Clint.

My mom, I hope she shares with me though!

In a tremendous show of self restraint I would send this wonderful gift of pears and GOODIES to my mother.
Julie B says
I want it for myself, but if I am having a good day, I’ll probably share it 😉 I’m not making any promises, though!

I would like to send this to my mom. I moved from Michigan to Tennessee about 6 years ago, and I definitely haven’t gotten to see her as much as I’d like since then. I was fortunate to have her come into town last summer for my wedding, but I’m not sure when I’ll get up there for another visit. Her 65th birthday will be 11 days after Mother’s Day, so it’s an important time of year to honor her!
Kat Parris says
I’d love it for me – and would love sharing it with my family, once I cherry pick my faves;) thanks for the opportunity!!
Michelle says
I would definitely give it to my mom. We’re super close, but I’ve been away these past three years, so I haven’t been able to celebrate birthdays or Mother’s Days with her. I try to find something new and special to send her each year, and this definitely fits the bill!
Tonia says
I’d give it to my Mom — and I know she’d share with her delightful daughter *grin* 😀
Karen says
Me too – I’d want to keep it for myself. But my Mom deserves a treat like this, she is and always has been amazing.

My mama! She’s fed me so much over the years : ).
