Harry & David sent me a Mother’s Day Tower of Treats Gift Deluxe (ARV $59) to review and has offered to give an identical gift tower to one lucky Foodie with Family reader in celebration of Mother’s Day. I do so love Harry & David.
You know ‘Mom’ is ‘Wow’ upside down, right?
How perfect is that? Every mother is aware how very upside down and wowed you spend most of your days. We think we’ve gone down the rabbit hole with diapers and spit-up, but every single day proves that you ain’t seen nothing yet. It’s the beginning of a lifetime of your heart being a dishrag that just keeps sopping up love and being wrung out just in time to soak up more love that you didn’t see coming.
…Just in time for Mother’s Day, my good friends at Harry & David ride to the rescue once again with a perfect gift to give to a deserving mother in your life, whether it’s yours, your spouse’s, your own, or a really nice lady down the street who mothers all the lonely kids. THIS mom is telling you that a stack of pretty boxes filled with treats of all kinds and tied together with a beautiful satin ribbon is a splendiferous way to show your appreciation. Have you TRIED their Royal Riviera pears yet? Let me explain how good the pears are… Each opportunity I’ve had to review and give away one of Harry & David’s gifts, I’ve deliberately chosen one with the pears because they rock my world. There is no other pear that is so tender and juicy that it’s easiest to eat if you cut it in half and scoop the flesh with a spoon. Seriously. What mom wouldn’t love that?
It’s not just full of pears, though; look at all the goodies in there…
Most of us have more than one mama for whom to buy or make a gift. If you’re stuck for ideas, you must hop over to Harry&David and look at their selection of Mother’s Day gifts. If your mom loves gardening, cheesecake, fruit, wine, cheese, flowers, tea, candy, chocolates, cake, cookies, wreaths, and birdhouses, they have you covered and there’s still seven days to order and have your gift arrive on time!
The giveaway is now closed. Congratulations to Terah, the college student! Please check your email and get back to me quickly. Your mama is going to be thrilled!

This year Mother’s day lands on my mom’s birthday! She’ll be 82 and I would love for her to have something special. She’s beat cancer just a few years ago and I try to keep her weight up, so the goodies would be perfect. And the pears would keep it healthy! I’d buy one for her myself, but I gave up my business to care for her, and now that she’s doing better I’ve found it’s pretty hard to get work in this economy…. and I’m no spring chicken myself 😛

I would love this gift for myself! Of course I will share with my family.

What a lovely giveaway! I adore Harry & David and as much as I would loooove to keep this amazing basket all for little ol’ me… I would give it to my mother-in-law. She helps me so much and so often with my girls. She also cares for her elderly mother, runs her own household, works full-time and more. I feel she spreads herself too thin at times, doing so much for everyone else and not enough for herself. So she deserves a special treat and so much more!

My Mom. She’s a Mom to more than just her biological children. She has young moms and girls with small children who live at her house. She never knew God would have her start parenting all over again. As she is being a grandparent to her young grandchildren, she is back raising small kids and wild teenagers again. She is an amazing woman with out a selfish bone in her body. How I would love to bless her….

My daughter, she is a great mom, works as a therapist with at
risk youth and really deserves a treat.

It would be for my Mom. Get your hankie ready! She’s 79, has stage 4 cancer and congestive heart failure. Thank God her Dementia is so bad she doesn’t remember it half the time!! Bless her heart, She’d be thrilled! Then forget about it 20 minutes later!! Thanks for the chance!

I would send this to my sister. She’s a single mom raising 2 special needs kids and deserves a special treat.

I’d like my sister to have this. She’s a great step-mom and deserves a tower of Harry & David love.

As much as I’d LOVE to have this for myself, I’d really like to be able to give something nice to a very special co-worker who is a single mother raising a daughter AND granddaughter on one income. I’m embarrassed to say we’ve all been struggling a bit at paying the bills and recently she found out I wasn’t able to buy groceries and took me with her and paid my bill. I’d like to give her something she might not buy for herself and her family.
Kim says
I would keep it for myself. I always forget to pamper myself because I’m busy taking care of everyone else in the family.

I’d like this for my wife. I came into her life rather late (for both of us) but, as a result, I have the greatest family ever! She raised two boys practically alone who turned out to be great people. They’ve married and are each raising their kids in the style taught them by their mother. Talk about wonderful grandkids — 3 boys, 1 girl (who’s the apple of my eye)!!! I really had no family before — but now I’m “complete” thanks to her. She’s a wonder….and I love her dearly.
Miranda says
I’d kind of love to keep it for myself. I know. It just looks so yummy.

I would want to send this to my mom – she’d be so thrilled! I was just thinking that I’d bake her favorite brownies to send to her, but a gift from Harry & David would definitely send her over the top!

Because my mom deserves a good pearing!

I would have to give this to my own mother. My firstborn is 7 days away from turning one and in this past year I have learned to appreciate my mom more knowing what it’s like firsthand. A beautiful giveaway!
