Just ventured into canning a few years ago and really enjoy it, though it can be a little time consuming, it forces me to just take a break from all the other craziness and relax.
I could really use some good canning equipment! And, my goodness, those coconut bars look amazing!

Perfect timing with your giveaway! I have my mom’s old water bath canner and the bottom has started to rust out. It’s definitely time to replace it….so I can try more of your canning recipes!

I pickle the cucumbers, jam the figs, and sauce the tomatoes from the garden but too much eventually goes to waste because I haven’t taken the leap to canning. It scares and entices me at the same time. I guess the idea of canning, to me, is like that of a dangerous lover. I am indeed a very dull woman.

I love canning, and my family loved your cherry pie filling recipe and of course the candied jalapeños. My 13 year old son helps me with them every year.
