I’ve been wanting to get into canning. My mom loved canning veggies from the garden she kept when I was a little girl. Looking forward to when I can do the same!

Still fairly new.

My family has always canned–I’ve probably been canning since I was about 8.

Ordered your book and made the brown sugar bourbon peaches yesterday. Had a few that did fit in the jar and they were heavenly! Can’t wait to try more of your recipes.
Rebecca says
Thank you so much, Sara! Those over-flow goodies that don’t fit in jars are my favourite fringe benefit of canning. I’d be honoured if you’d leave a review of the book on Amazon!
Dani says
I love canning. In fact I have a batch of honey bourbon peach jam cooling on my counter right now.

My first “big purchase” as an adult living on my own was a 22 pint/8 quart Presto pressure canner. I still have and use it yearly now 38 years later!

I have canned for years. My grandmother taught me how to can tomatoes, spaghetti sauce, jellies, jams and pickles the year I graduated from college and I’m a grandmother now.

My mom is a canner and I learned from her. I’ve been canning ever since I started a family (oldest is 13)….but I’m learning new things every year. I love having my pantry full of beautiful colors of yummy food!
Doreen says
Oh great giveaway! I started canning but using a friends blue canner!

I am a new to canning but loving it so far. However, I need some better tools and more recipes! =)

I am totally intrigued by canning but have never had the: 1) time; 2) motivation; 3) courage, to buy all the equipment necessary! I think I would love it, especially with the help of your book which seems to make it seriously doable even for a canning newbie like me. I’m hoping to get a copy of your book for Christmas — it’s at the top of my list!
