It’s time for the third installment of a collaborative weekly Easy Meal Plan brought to you by Foodie with Family and 7 other top food bloggers.
Food, glorious food. The week go by so nicely when you’re looking forward to good meals, doesn’t it? Sometimes, though, it’s hard to avoid a same old-same old rut with food and mealtime loses a little of its luster. Easy Meal Plan to the rescue! Seven of my favourite food bloggers and I have gotten our heads together to bring a little creative fire to your kitchens all week long with 6 main dishes and 2 sweet treats (everyone needs a night off, right?). I’m so excited because this week is full of gorgeous, fast, delicious comfort foods: Super Easy Swedish meatballs; Creamy Zucchini, Tomato, and Ricotta Pasta; One Pot Chicken & Asparagus; White Chicken Caprese Lasagna; Bacon Wrapped Chili Dogs; and Ropa Vieja (Cuban Saucy Shredded Beef). Desserts this week are Strawberry Lemonade Bars and Cheesecake Cookie Bars. Who’s hungry besides me?

I’m planning out my menu for this next week, and popped over to your blog for your Lebanese Beef and Beans recipe (yum). I started browsing through your meal plans, and saw that we hardly have any comments. I sure appreciate that you do these, as it exposes me to other food blogs and takes some of the guess work out of creating my own weekly menus. Thank you for doing them, and I hope you keep it up–even if you don’t get the same level of feedback for these posts as you do for your other posts.

Rachel- Thank you so very much for this note! It is nice to know that you like it for exactly the reasons we bloggers are doing this! Anything that makes it easier for folks to feed themselves awesome food during the week is worth it!

I love having a meal plan. It makes dinner a joy instead of a stressful dreaded chore.
Great ideas. ?
