What I love best about Thanksgiving is having my family all together (usually on a cold and snowy) Thanksgiving, laughing and sharing stories around the table with good eats.

The thing I love best about Thanksgiving is having all of our family and friends over for food and games. We stuff ourselves silly and then play Scrabble, Catch Phrase, Charades, and watch football. It’s the best!
Teah says
What isn’t there to love about Thanksgiving!?!? The food, the family, the time to think and reflect about our lives. Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday! It is a chance to slow down and spend time with family before the craze of Christmas shopping, feasting and parting hits! Worth repeating, what isn’t there to love about Thanksgiving?!
Cheryl Hopkins says
I love just being with family and friends. The traditions of certain foods. Even the stuff that does not turn out.
Anne Weber-Falk says
What I love best about Thanksgiving is the togetherness of family and friends. I just love this. Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday.
Anne says
I cook and bake all the time, nearly always just for the two of us for the last several years. What I love about Thanksgiving is that it gives me the excuse to pull out all the stops and make a really fabulous meal for my hard-working spouse with all his favorite foods. It’s still just us, but I like to make him feel special so he knows he’s appreciated.
Kristen says
I like getting friends and family together around a big lovely feast.

Food, family, friends and fine wine.

I love seeing all my family, and eating all the absolutely delicious food that we put together every year. My mother’s oven has an almost magical ability to cook turkey quickly while still leaving it incredibly juicy. Basting is essential.
David Coleman says
I love Thanksgiving because it’s a holiday centered on taking time to realize what we have to be grateful for in life. This year, I won’t be able to be with family. I’m a small business owner and things are really tough. So I can’t afford to travel. In fact, I can’t even afford to buy the essentials for a Thanksgiving dinner. But, in spite of these things, I’m thankful for my family and for living in the most wonderful nation on earth. Happy Thanksgiving to all!
